acroBATics

Been getting back into some maqeutte making - sculpting is so much fun! Here's a little piece i did to get back into the swing of things. 

It's for the Laika House Creative Challenge that they put out on Facebook monthly, encouraging art of all mediums to depict a monthly topic. This month's was "circus animals"...I went for the obvious (enjoyable!) pun - acroBAT. Wire, Sculpey, fabrics, and acrylics were used.

only the warm colours

It's still cold here, I daydream of beach days and feeling warm rays of sunshine on my face.

This sketch was inspired by Nichole's wonderfully adorable pinup style.

(also, just realized, this is such a similar pose to my previous post - my subconscious must be wanting to recline lazily with one knee up...or something)
